HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
There are so many variables when it comes to an event. The price depends on the length that you require a DJ/Artist and this means the time you want music to start playing till the very last song. The location of the party and what type of event you need us for. However, you can use our online quote generator to find a price but if you do have any special requirements that are not listed please call our office so we can provide an accurate price on 07950322142. Hi-Tek Entertainment offers a professional service and although we are not the cheapest, we are also not the most expensive. Generally if you are comparing prices of DJ/Artists we are in the middle. Remember that your function has cost you good money and you want to make sure your guests have a great time and that’s why we always say “A Good DJ Isn’t Cheap And A Cheap DJ Isn’t Good!!”
WHAT TYPES OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?
Hi-Tek Entertainment carry a vast collection of music from 1950 right through to the latest chart hits, we have all the favourite party and dance move classics. Using our online music selection database you can tailor the music selection for you function allowing you to decide which songs you really want playing and avoiding the ones you don’t like. We all use a generic list to start the night off and read the audience and utilising the list you have provided we can keep the dance floor full.
CAN WE REQUEST OUR OWN MUSIC?
We do encourage clients to request music either through our online tools or on the night of the function, we normally start the evening with a pre loaded play list and then begin to mix the clients requested songs in with what we do best and that is reading the crowd, we also ask guests to make song requests on the eveing they wish to dance to. Remeber that when choosing a particular type of music or style some guests may not enjoy as much as others, so we tend to stick to the mainstream music we know creates a great atmosphere.
HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU NEED TO SET UP?
We use very compact yet great looking kits which we are able to jig around to fit all venues regardless of size, in some cases our DJ/Artists visit the venue before hand or enquire with fellow DJ's who may have already visited the venue previously. We always arrive at the a venue arounf 45 minutes to 1 hour before to allow for set up so we are confident that the music will begin playing at the exact start time.
HOW DO I PAY MY BILL?
To make a deposit or pay your fee please use our preffered payment method of bank transfer. We can also except a cheque for the deposit but we no longer accept cheques as payment on the night. if you wish to pay for yoiur event using cheque we would need your cheque to arrive with us 12 days prior to your function date. Once any payment is made you can cheque your balance on the client log in area. The bank details for transfers and our address can be found on the payments screen.
I WANT TO BOOK BUT WHAT DO I NEED TO DO NOW?
To get things rolling we just need some details about yourself and the type of function, when filling out the quote form all of the packages can be chosen from here but if you need any help or we need to make any tweaks to create a more bespoke package please drop us a line or email from our contact page. Normally we require your full name, address, postcode and email so we can send out a confirmation and our terms of business which can all be found in our client area. Once the function is booked in we will send you log in details to the website tools and forms for you to complete and depending on what your function type is depends on which forms are required to fill out. We normally take a deposit regardless of the total amount of just £30 to secure a booking. Our site allows clients to make payments using credit or debit cards but our preffered method of all payments is bank transfer and the details can be found in our client area. Please make sure you book early for wedding functions to make sure you book one of our wedding specialist DJ/Artists.
HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
We can cover fifty miles from our head office address based in Keighley, West Yorkshire. A charge will be added for any event that is fifty miles away to cover extra travelling and fuel costs.
